Officer Travis Clark - Pyro

My name is Travis Clark.  I joined the Unified Police Department in 2014 and always had a passion to be a K9 Handler stemming from my military deployment in Afghanistan.  I have worked as a patrol officer in Herriman, Riverton, Midvale, and Kearns.  I’ve held detective assignments in Midvale and Kearns, I joined the UPD SWAT Team in 2018, and then the UPD Drone Unit in 2022.  I am new to the K9 Unit and excited and look forward to this opportunity.   

Pyro and I became a team on December 14th 2023.  Pyro loves pets and treats.  Pyro’s favorite toy is a Kong ball but loves to play with his tug.  Pyro is a mixed breed of Dutch Shepard and Belgian Malinois.  Pyro is from Poland and is 14 months old.
