    Monument Honors Courage and Loyalty of Special Operations K9

    Larkin Mortuary and Rocky Mountain Monument graciously donated a new K9 monument in front of the Special Operations Precinct honoring K9 courage and loyalty. 

    The original monument was erected in 2000 and honored service of the working dogs that protect our community.  The years had been hard on the granite and etching.  Retired Sgt.  Lane Larkin offered to repair the original monument and quickly found it was beyond repair.  Lane arranged replacement of the monument with a beautiful new red granite monument.

    Current and previous K9 handlers  the setting of the monument Wednesday the 5th of October.
